During Restoration :

After removing all of the controls, wiring, metal parts, and the molding, and after ripping off the old overlay, you can see the T-nuts. All of the leftover adhesive is hard to remove. I use Polystrippa for the heavy deposits and sometimes acetone for light spots.

Look at that, the cigarettes burned the wood right through the overlay...
