Look here: http://dbserv.maxim-ic.com/quick_view2.cfm?pdf_num=1152 They couldn't be simpler to use, just 3 connections, Vcc, Ground and reset (you can choose either high or low going resets by which part # you order). I have successfully used this chip on Dragon's Lair, I,Robot and about a dozen other games that were modified with modern switchers. You can order them direct from Maxim or get them from a distributor.
