I have been intrigued with this game ever since I discovered that it was programmed by the Master, Dave Theurer. It is only rated #46 on my list of top 50 only because I have actually not played it before! Hopefully it will move up on my list and not out of my Arcade! I have a feeling it's a keeper though! =)

This had been sitting in a warehouse for 10+ years it is looks pretty good. Has not been cleaned or powered up yet. I want to get my Robotron up and running before I start another project.

This game was a great deal and I couldn't pass it up. The only real problem is the cigarette burns in the Control Panel. Hopefully I can find a replacement at some point. Anyone have one for sale? =)

I finally powered up I robot and after some fiddling, I got the game to work, only problem is that it only displays red.

The boards are basically mint. Zero hacking on these boards. The only two components that look like they have been replaced are two transistors on the Power Supply/ Sound Board. Which is odd, that the Sound and Power Supply were combined to one board. One interesting chip is a custom Atari Chip called ICY II. I'd like to know exactly what this chip does (Math co-processor for the 3D modeling?). On the Power Supply board there is an interesting mark. What does it look like to you?

The back of the monitor is clean but their oxidation on the right side. It's called a DISCO, man I thought disco was dead!?! The Underneath of the control panel looks brand new! Not one speck of dust. The monitor back door has a switch setting sheet and finally the model number and serial number plate. Model number is 31900 and the serial number is UR00674.

The marquee is pretty much totally mint. It is different and not what I expected in that is a laminate which is placed behind glass and has two clips that hold it on each side. This is totally original and looks very nice when illuminated. There is peeling on the right side and it looks like it can be glued back down so that you will never know. The side sticker is totally complete. There is slight peeling on the other side but this side was by far the worse. The other side is complete as well.

The first pic is of the inside. Very clean as the only holes are on the bottom panel. The air get sucked in through vents on the bottom section up into the board section with two fans. You also see two of the speakers in the lower section. There are two more in the head of the cabinet that don't work at the moment. Next up is the back of the cabinet after I cleaned it up. One thing that I noticed about the cab and you can see it on the back of the head is that a portion of the cab has some slight bubbling as if it might gotten wet at one point. You can see is slightly on the lower section (maybe 20%) and on the back of the head. The bottom sticker also has the bottom 6 inches slight like this. Not noticeable unless you get real close. Still looks very nice. The last shot is the top marquee lit up with the game playing on demo mode.

Three more screen shots. The opening logo, the selection screen after you start a game and the game in play. Oh yeah! Too bad the screen is only red. Most likely it is a monitor problem. Might look into it and also I may trade the game for some other games I want.

All and all a very nice machine. Looks very interesting, very much ahead of it's time, and scoffed by the few that saw it. Most didn't understand it and most still don't. Will I? :-)
