Many people have asked me "How do those NEW fingerboards work?" and "How can I convert my board to run in a JAMMA cabinet?" Here is a quick FAQ to show you:

1. Take fingerboard and Edge connector (key side is JAMMA)

 
2. Solder the Edge connector to the Fingerboard.

 
3. Jumper wires from the Edge connector side to the JAMMA side (according to pinouts)

 
4. When finished plug JAMMA side into the JAMMA harness and your board into Edge Connector

 

The result is a VERY compact, sturdy, and EASY to build JAMMA adapter, without the muss and fuss. The holes in the fingerboard are so that you can wire from one side to the other easily.
