This Quantum control panel overlay has been almost a year in the making. Roy Kaplan took an original Quantum overlay and completely recreated the artwork in a digital, vector format. Correct sizing and color matching has been performed with exceptional results. Here is a picture of several overlays.

Additionally, a minor defect in the overlays has been corrected. In many original Quantum CPOs, the pink "swirl" was mis registered during the printing process. This error produced a swirl that was uneven and distracted from an otherwise clean appearance. This problem has been fixed and eliminated.

The Quantum reproduction CPOs have been reverse screen printed on Lexan - just like the originals that Atari had produced. These Quantum overlays are NOT being printed on an inkjet printer. You will not see any pixelation, color bleed or fuzziness. We have found the same Lexan material which has a smooth finish, and are using 3M Scotch 468MP High Performance adhesive backing to ensure proper fit and finish. The decision was made not to die cut the very small "notches" in the Player 1 and Player 2 start buttons. The added cost would have made this project financially unfeasible.

Please note, due to the small production run of Quantum machines, there are only a VERY LIMITED number of new overlays being printed. Unfortunately, this makes the price per overlay a little higher than say a Centipede or Galaga overlay (which is much smaller to begin with). Once these are sold, there will NOT be a second run. Several of the Quantum reproduction overlays have already been spoken for, and the remaining stock will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

All orders within the contintental United States are shipped via UPS. Orders to other countries are shipped via standard US mail. All overlays will be shipped flat using custom-cut, heavy double wall cardboard with alternating grain to prevent punctures and bending. The cost of these materials is reflected in the shipping cost.
