They are supposed to cycle. There are 5 pairs (left and right) and they light 1,
2, 3, 4, 5 and 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, both fast and slow. If they are stuck on, the most
likely cause is the transistors on the light sequencer board. They are 2222's or
compatible. I replaced mine and had them burn out again with less than 3 hours of
use, so I replaced them with much sturdier TIP122's (thanks for the advice, Spike)
which requred a little creative engineering, since the pinouts are different.
