Welcome honoured guest! My name is Torbjörn Molander and this is
my pinball-site. I´m a pinball collector living
in Hallunda, a suburb to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.
I´ve been a pinhead since the early -90´s and I bought
my first pinball machine in 1994, a TX-Sector
(Gottlieb 1988).
I sold it a couple of years later when I discovered the wizard of pinball
design: Pat Lawlor.
Pat is the man behind Banzai Run, Whirlwind, Funhouse, No Good Gofers
plus
the games in my
collection: The Addams Family Gold, Earthshaker, Road Show, Safe Cracker
(1 of 3 available in Sweden) and Twilight Zone.
Twilight Zone is my all-time favourite because of the open playfield,
the large amount of shots, the in-depth rules and
a very cool theme.
He has also designed a redemption game, The
Addams Family Values, and he helped out with the video game GORF.
His tenth pinball game was supposed to be a Pinball 2000 machine called
Wizard Blocks, but on the 19th of November 1999 WMS shutted down the pinball
factory in Chicago due to economical reasons.
Pat now runs his own company, Pat
Lawlor Design, which will work with Stern
on their new pinball game.
